UPDATE: Workshop #6 is now full. REGISTER HERE for our next workshop on Saturday 12 April.
Learn to make a zine, work on your own publication, and connect with fellow zinesters.
For our 6th zine workshop, we will be exploring LANGUAGE as a tool and system of communication; as a meaning-making entity; as a representation of thought; and as an expression of identity and culture.
We encourage creatives, zinesters and makers who speak languages other than English to participate in this creative activity and language exchange.
The workshop will be facilitated by School of Zines’ creator, Aph, joined by our special guest Reese Claro - a Filipino-born creative designer who is passionate about photography, typography, and publication design. Reese will talk us through their inspiration and creative process in developing their new zine, From Baybayin to Abakada published by Illographo Press.

Whether you’re a lone wolf who prefers to work at your own pace or a social butterfly who thrives on collaboration, all workshop participants will have equal access to in-person support, creative resources and inspiration to help you self-publish your zine/s.
Workshop fee: $15*.
